Anne Crumpler

Anne Crumpler comes from a long line of preachers, teachers, and writers; she learned Theology, Bible, and English grammar over the dinner table. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Chatham College and a Master of Religious Education from St. Meinrad School of Theology.

Anne has been an assistant editor in the Department of Youth Publications, the United Methodist Publishing House, and is presently a freelance writer and editor.

Anne is a contract editor for The Upper Room Daily Devotional Guide and for Devo’Zine. She has written bible lessons for Mature Years and Daily Bible Studies, commentary for The New International Lesson Annual, articles for Devo’Zine and Alive Now, devotions for The Upper Room Disciplines and 365 Meditations for Families, sermon helps for What Difference Would It Make? (a program of The Upper Room), and study guides for Lent offered on-line by The Upper Room. She co-authored On This Rock for Abingdon.

Anne lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, David. They have two spectacular children, Rachel and Benjamin.
