Take a refreshing plunge into the Bible. There is more to the story of Job than the first and last chapters, for it is the chapters in between that mirror man's own life struggles. Immersion: Job enables readers to enter the story and experience the trials of life through the eyes of Job. Easy-to-follow, step-by-step suggestions for leading a group are provided, as well as questions to facilitate class discussion.

Immersion, inspired by a fresh translation--the Common English Bible--stands firmly on Scripture and helps readers explore the emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of their personal faith. More importantly, they’ll be able to discover God’s revelation through readings and reflections.

Reviews

• “This study is outstanding! I was drawn in immediately by the writer’s clear, engaging style. She was able to articulate the deep theological questions of Job’s story, while also asking questions behind the scenes, such as ‘What does this say about God?’"—Nan Duerling, writer and editor, Cambridge, Maryland “ • This beautiful series helps readers become fluent in the words and thoughts of God, for purposes of illumination, strength building, and developing a closer walk with the One who loves us so.”—Laurie Beth Jones, author of Jesus, CEO and The Path
