Maurice Elias, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at Rutgers University and the Director of the Rutgers Social-Emotional and Character Development Lab. He lectures internationally to educators and parents about students emotional intelligence, school success, and social-emotional development. He is a founding member of the leadership team for the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning.
