Pattern for Romance

Pattern for Romance follows a gifted needleworker whose good name is threatened just as she dares to dream of a future of her own. Honour Metcalf’s quilting is admired by a wealthy customer of the Boston mantua-maker she works for, and, to increase her earnings, she agrees to create an elaborate whitework bridal quilt for the dowager’s niece.
