Let go of what was never yours to carry.

Lent is supposed to be a season of preparation and renewal--but for many women, it arrives on top of everything else you are already carrying. Rest: A Lenten Practice of Restoration and Renewal is a forty-day devotional for the woman who is tired of being tired and ready to put down what was never hers to carry in the first place.

Across forty daily reflections, Lisa Wilt, a Bible teacher and speaker whose ministry includes Women's Bible Study, daily radio, and podcasts, names the burdens that quietly accumulate--perfectionism, worry, frustration, comparison--and offers a grace-filled path through the spiritual discipline of rest. Each day is grounded in Scripture and closes with a simple prayer that helps you release what is too heavy, so you can move through the Lenten season renewed, unhurried, and present to God's love.

Rest is a daily devotional, not a group study, making it well-suited for personal Lenten observance.
